Keep that just-detailed feeling

A little aftercare.
A lasting shine.

Simple habits help preserve your finish between visits. Start with your service-specific care instructions, then keep this routine close at hand.

01 / AFTER YOUR DETAIL

Give protection time.

For fresh wax, sealant, or ceramic, follow the cure time we provide before washing, adding products, or exposing treated areas to water. Cure times vary by product and conditions—text us if you're unsure.

02 / AFTER A BOAT DAY

Rinse away the salt.

Once your protection has cured, rinse salt and loose dirt with fresh water after outings. Work on cool surfaces in the shade, and gently dry with clean microfiber to reduce water spots. Don't wipe a salty or gritty surface dry.

03 / REGULAR WASHES

Wash gently. Rinse well.

Use a pH-neutral, coating-compatible marine wash at its labeled dilution. Wash from top to bottom with a clean microfiber mitt, rinsing it often in a separate clean-water bucket. Rinse thoroughly before soap dries, then gently towel dry.

04 / BETWEEN VISITS

Stay ahead of buildup.

Soften and remove bird droppings promptly with a compatible cleaner. Avoid abrasive pads, stiff brushes, household detergents, and unapproved acid or bleach cleaners on protected finishes. Use surface-specific care for isinglass, vinyl, leather, and decking.

Not sure what belongs on your finish?

Ask us before using a stain remover or adding a topper. Ceramic packages that require six-month checkups must follow the inspection schedule in your written warranty. Your package's care instructions and warranty terms always apply.
